Selivanov told IronMind he has been training grip for “almost two years,” inspired by some YouTube videos. 

“I don’t have a strict [training] program. I have 1 - 6 sessions in the week.”

Selivanov works as an IT engineer for a cloud provider.

“I like to train with grippers, [compete in] arm lifting and watch arm wrestling. I want to certify on the CoC No. 3.5 and the the CTD+ Challenge . . . and also come the No. 4 even from a deep set.

“Strong hands help me to carry heavy things alone, without anyone’s help,” Selianov said.
