Zenith Grippers: New Models, No Certifications

The Zenith gripper introduced by IronMind several weeks ago is an exciting new tool for developing grip strength and hand health, and additional models are on their way.

“It’s gorgeous, super smooth and very comfortable in my hand,” gushed an excited Zenith gripper user. Recently launched by IronMind—grip central since 1988—the Zenith gripper sports a new look and a different feel for fresh results. ©IronMind Enterprises, Inc.

IronMind had a tough time keeping up with its initial orders, but yesterday we filled the last of the remaining backorders for Zenith grippers and we are happy to announce that the Zenith 2 and the Zenith 3 are on their way.

Our intention in developing the Zenith gripper was to provide a complement to IronMind’s Captains of Crush (CoC) gripper line and therefore we began by introducing the Zenith Agility, the Zenith Trainer and the Zenith 1.

The Zenith Agility is designed for people who need minimal resistance and it’s quite a bit easier to close than a Captains of Crush Guide.

Other than with the Agility, the Zenith model names parallel those used for the Captains of Crush grippers, but they are designed for a different application: prehab, rehab, warming up, cooling down, conditioning and active rest.  Therefore, the Zenith models will feel easier to close as well as being more comfortable in your hand than the comparable Captains of Crush models.

The Zenith 2 will be released next week and the Zenith 3 will be released the week after next, and once these new Zenith gripper models are available, they will be offered in the IronMind e-store and from selected dealers.

Several people have asked whether IronMind will offer a certification program for the Zenith grippers and the answer is no.  We appreciate your interest, but the Captains of Crush gripper line remains the international benchmark for demonstrating grip strength, with certification on the toughest CoC grippers going back to 1991 when IronMind developed the concept of officially recognizing exemplary performances on these gold standard grippers.

At IronMind, our feeling is that excellence on the Zenith grippers comes not from demonstrating one’s one-rep maximum under official conditions, but rather from developing the hand strength and health to enjoy life and excel at your chosen activities day after day—that’s what Zenith grippers are designed to do.
