World Strongman Federation: 5-Stage Tour Planned

“Last Sunday in Kiev was the WSF Team World Cup ‘Strong Kiev ERIDON Ukraine,'” WSF director Vlad Redkin reported to IronMind, “and the main organizers were PLSU and 'Konyushok SPORT.'"

The head referee was none other than Vasil Virastyuk, and nine teams from six countries participated and the Ukrainian team of Sergey Konyushok and Alexander Lashin won the competition.
Asked about his relationship with the organizers, Redkin said he has an informal agreement with PLSU “and we will sign the official agreement in Riga on 20 of August about WSF World Cup cooperation”
Back on his World Strongman Federation, Redkin said, “We have the agreement between 8 countries in this moment. Will be more. All will be filmed and will be broadcast.”
Here is the 2011/2012 season Redkin outlined:
1. Riga, Latvia (August 20)—confirmed
2. Georgia (September 4)—confirmed
3. Belarus (September 10)—confirmed
4. Uzbekistan (November)—pending
5. Russia (November)—pending
