“WHEA and Finnish national TV company YLE (sport) have signed a contract and WHEA's Pure Power event goes on TV in September,” WHEA Chairman Jyrki Rantanen told IronMind today.


“YLE's programs can be viewed also via YLE Areena in internet, which is the most popular channel in Finland and can be seen from other countries also without fees.

“The event is focused on sports, which are committed to anti-doping actions and are asking muscle power from the athletes.

“This year the events are 2nd Strongman/Woman World Championships under doping-testing, Pole Fitness Nordic Championships and Maximum power pressing Finnish Nationals.

“The happening will be held at Elenia-Arena at Hämeenlinna 9-10th, Sept.2016.

"We are very thankful to YLE about the visibility we are getting as along with the clean sport principles our goal is to raise the value of our events as sports events instead of show status, “ said Rantanen.
