With the 2013 World Armlifting Championships as the backdrop, Vadim Leles certified on the Captains of Crush® (CoC) No. 3 gripper—the first man from Belarus to achieve this international benchmark of world class grip strength.

The 37-year old Belarusian IT engineer stands 184 cm (about 6’-1/2”) tall and weighs 100 kg  (about 220 lb.) and said that when he first learned about grippers, he could close the Captains of Crush No. 2 gripper, giving an indication of Vadim’s superior level of grip strength.

Vadim was the first man from Belarus to certify on the IronMind Red Nail and now that he’s blazed another trail as he is the first Belarusian to certify on the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper as well—proving he’s a force to be reckoned with in the grip strength world, but wait, because there’s more coming.

“The next goal I have is to close the CoC No. 3.5,” Vadim told IronMind.
