SAWO Open Grip Competition

Ace Finnish gripster Jouni Mähönen is hosting the SAWO Open Grip Competition in Iisalmi, Finland on August 12, and given the athletes on board it’s likely to put pressure on some world records.

“Even though this competition is a warm-up to US World Grip Championships 2017, we are expecting top results in a tough competition as the athlete list is awesome—containing most of the top lifters in Finland, along with a few newcomers.

"And they are challenged by Thomas Larsen from Norway,” Mähönen told IronMind. 

Larsen is the current world record holder on the IronMind Blockbuster Pinch Grip Block and Mahonen, by the way, is a past world record holder on the IronMind Hub, plus he is always considered a threat on the CoC Silver Bullet.
