USA Weightlifting, the national governing body for Olympic weightlifting in the United States, seeks qualified applicants for the position of Resident Coach at the Northern Michigan University (RCNMU) campus in Marquette, MI.

This is a new, full-time position, which will be available in early 2003. The successful candidate for RCNMU will possess at least five years demonstrated experience coaching elite weightlifters individually and in groups, including training and competition, with significant demonstrated experience developing such athletes.  He or she will be ranked as a USAW International or Senior International Coach, or have equivalent experience and education.

The RCNMU reports to the USAW Executive Director; works closely with the Technical Director; and plans, organizes and personally supervises the day-to-day training of weightlifters on the campus of NMU.
