Mid-Illinois Strength Symposium

Marty Schnorf has pulled together some top names for his Mid-Illinois strength symposium: Jim Radcliffe, Al Vermeil, Tommy Kono and Zygmunt Smalcerz.

Tommy Kono’s credits in the sport of weightlifting are too numerous to list here, but count an Olympic gold medal and over two dozen world records as part of his legacy.  Interested in how this applies to athletes in traditional American sports, including basketball and football?  Jim Radcliffe has been the head strength and conditioning coach at the University of Oregon for over 25 years and Al Vermeil is the former head strength coach of the Chicago Bulls and the San Francisco 49ers.  And leading the charge for USA Weightlifting, Zygmunt Smalcerz, an Olympic gold medalist in the sport and now the resident coach at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, rounds out the picture.

Scheduled for January 19 - 20, please visit the home of the Charleston Weightlifting Club for full details.
