Following the format of recent years, two competitors from each group are expected to advance to the finals and the fight for top honors.  Typically, two alternates are invited and as far as IronMind knows, these positions have not yet been filled for the contest, but the likely candidates would seem to include Dave Ostlund and Arild Haugen.

IronMind will continue to provide updates as we get them, but also keep your eye on the World's Strongest Man website for the official details as well as some exciting new merchandise and special offers.
