Among the outcomes, Brebner said that the IHGF and Anna Grethe Horten of the Fefore Hotel (Norway) signed a contract for the hosting of the 2017 IHGF Amateur Highland Games World Championships and the Stones of Strength.
Brebner also reported that while Scotland scouting locations for a major IHGF World Championship, he was presented the possibility of a very exceptional location—noting that, “At the moment we are in early stages of discussions about an event in that location and if everything goes to plan, two IHGF competitions would be staged, with both being filmed for TV.”
