IFSA Super Series 2002 Second Stop in Stockholm

The top ten 2002 World's Strongest Man finalists will compete in the Hammer Strength Sweden Grand Prix November 23 in Stockholm.
They are Pudzianowski (POL), Savickes (LIT), Bergmanis (LAT), Perry (USA), Karlsen (NOR), Rasanen (FIN), Girard (CAN), Edmunds (UK), Dymek (POL), and Samuelsson (SWE), and will be joined by Muhr (GER), Johansson (SWE), Haugen (NOR/Hawaii), Schoonveld (USA) and Bartl (CZE).
Karlsen heads the current standings in the Super Series at 6 points, followed by Girard, 5; Virtanen (FIN), 4; Schoonveld, 3; Haugen, 2; and Dymek, 1.
The top ten finalists of the Stockholm competition will then advance to the 2002 IFSA World Strongman Super Series Final in Hawaii, January 18, 2003 as part of the 24-Hour Fitness Beauty & the Beast.
Ten more athletes will be invited to compete as well, to qualify for the 2003 IFSA World Strongman Super Series which starts the following day, January 19. From Honolulu, Hawaii, the 2003 series goes to Qatar, UAE; Aberdeen, Scotland; Prague, Czech Republic; Stockholm, Sweden; and a Canadian or U.S. mainland location.
