Derek Boyer Wins Fit X Strongman Championships

“Derek Boyer fought hard to hang on to win the inaugural Melbourne Fit X Strongman Championships,” Bill Lyndon reported to IronMind, “with strong finishes from both Jeremy Hogg and Eben Le Roux.

“Eben did a solid 16 reps with the 315-kg Deadlift at 43 cm, and Jeremy Hogg won the Car Walk.
“Derek is proving that age is no barrier and at 41 years of age and still has what it takes to win the big shows. The current leader of the Clash of the Titans series is Eben Le Roux with the next Aussiepower major event and series three in July at Australia’s Strongest Man," said Lyndon.
