“The International Austrian Armlifting Championship 2015 is over and we had great performances,” Juergen Garshall, who both organized and competed in the contest, reported to IronMind.
“The 1st place overall went to the strong Norwegian Viking Eirik Bruun Ingebretsen (and also the win in the -105kg class). I was happy to win the -90kg class and also get the title Austria's Strongest Hands for the best placed Austrian grip-athlete overall. The heavyweight class over 105kg won the strong German Athlete Andreas Brixa!
“This grip competition was held in the setting of the Vienna Strength Sports festival, with other competitions in Highland-Games, Strongman, MAS-Wrestling and also Bavarian Stonelifting. I want to thank the main organizer of this strength sports festival Martin Schiller.
“I also want to thank IronMind to be a sponsor of our grip competition and support us with prizes for the weight class winners, and we also mainly use IronMind equipment in our grip competitions here in Austria.
“Thanks again for your support and I hope we will meet soon again in the future at a grip competition,” said Garschall.
