105-kg Category: Marcin Dolega Squeezes Out the Win

Antalya, Turkey – Marcin Dolega (Poland) nipped Dmitry Klokov (Russia) on body weight to win the 105-kg category at the 2010 World Weightlifting Championships, where both men totaled 415 kg.

Third place in the total, with 410 kg, went to Vladimir Smorchkov (Russia).  Smorchkov lost 8 kg on his total via close calls, losing both his 193-kg snatch and his 225-kg clean and jerk on two-to-one decisions.

Calling for a world record attempt of 238 kg in the clean and jerk on his third attempt, Dolega came out and merely deadlifted the bar.
