IMTUG™: The Two-Finger Gripper — Friendly, Fun, Effective,
Easy on Your Hands . . . and CoC 2

IMTUG Opens Up New Worlds

IMTUGs open up “a world of new training possibilities for grippers and related grip feats.
Wow, what a bell ringer!”
—Richard Sorin, the first man to officially close the No. 3 Captains of Crush Gripper

With IMTUGs, you can train any of your fingers—even your thumb—at the correct level of resistance and through the proper range. They are so friendly that grip guys light up when they see one for the first time, and they are so effective that they can almost guarantee PRs on whichever Captains of Crush® Gripper you are battling at the moment. And best of all, while some guys seem to revel in destroying their hands, we don’t think that’s either wise or a good way to get stronger, so we designed IMTUGs to protect the soft tissue of your palm as you develop the kind of grip strength that will have doorknobs coming off in your hands.

Not a conventional
gripper, IMTUG
is not held in the
hand like this!

Ideally, get an easier IMTUG for warm-ups and for pinch gripping:

Get a tougher one,
one level up, for your
pinky and ring finger:

Get an even tougher one, yet another level up, for your first and second fingers:

The hemi-end handle allows you to use a potent new training technique called the brush: get an assist from an extra finger by lightly brushing across the tip of the handle. The idea is to get just enough added juice to complete your crush. Now you can hold the closed position, slowly let the IMTUG open up, or just release and repeat. Whichever style you prefer, the brush technique will have the same result: it will make you stronger.

And remember, you can train one or two fingers at a time, although we generally recommend training your ring finger along with your pinky, rather than isolating your pinky.

GR8™ Springs
We’ve been involved in manufacturing springs for our grippers for over 15 years, and because we’ve been diligent in our pursuit of perfection and had plenty of good fortune along the way, our latest springs, introduced in 2005, once again raised the bar in terms of precision, durability, and appearance.

GR8™ Springs are available exclusively on Captains of Crush Grippers and IMTUGs.
