Giants Live: 2010 World’s Strongest Man Qualifying Tour Starts in South Africa

Giants Live, the official qualifying tour for the World’s Strongest Man contest, kicks off its 2010 season in South Africa on April 10 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Giants Live founder Colin Bryce told IronMind®.

Brian Shaw, Richard Skog, Mikhail Koklyaev, Terry Hollands, Mark Felix, Stefan Solvi Peturrsson, and Kostiantyn Ilin will be taking on a South African strongman contingent headed by Ettien Smit, in a six-event strongman contest.  The schedule calls for two days of competition, with the first day being the World’s Strongest Man qualifier, and the second day being a grand prix event that will feature world record attempts in both the log lift (maximum weight) and the 56-lb. weight for height, Bryce told IronMind®.
