2002 World's Strongest Man: Ready To Start Filming

Because World's Strongest Man is a TV show being filmed for broadcast at the end of December, TWI does not want any results published until then—on the Internet or elsewhere.

Historically, strongman fans have difficulty understanding this and think of the program as being an athletic event run for live broadcast, but it isn't—it is TWI's TV show, and while filming for this year's program begins tomorrow, IronMind will respect TWI's position regarding this media embargo and therefore we regret not being able to publish any results from WSM until after the TV show has aired.
